ANCHORAGE (KTUU) Kay's Family Restaurant, a long-time American-style restaurant located near the corner of Spenard and Benson, is now permanently closed.
The restaurant announced the closure Sunday through a post on their Facebook page, and with a sign posted on the restaurant's front door. No explanation for the sudden closure was given.
The post garnered many comments mourning the loss of the restaurant, which had been a part of the Anchorage community for many years.
KTUU reached out to Kay's through Facebook and over the phone regarding the closure, but has not received a response.
