BERLIN, Md. – Calling all foodies! Restaurant week is back in Berlin, and that means for the next seven days you can enjoy all the delicious food the coolest small town in America has to offer at a good price. Participating restaurants will offer a variety of courses for customers to enjoy at a set price. Restaurant week, now in its fourth year in Berlin, brings much-needed foot traffic to the area during the off-season. Event organizers add that the increased foot traffic also helps bring a ton of business to surrounding stores.
“It’s such a great way for people to be able to enjoy restaurants that they’ve never experienced before. People are shopping more and more online, so what gives them a reason to come to Berlin? If there are restaurants and places to eat then people are going to make it a day trip,” said the Town of Berlin’s director of economic and community development, Ivy Wells.
